When someone donates through a participant's share link, the gift is automatically credited to that specific participant's individual total as well as the overall campaign total. This routing happens automatically based on which link the donor used to arrive at the donation page, with no manual tagging or attribution required from the program or the donor.

Share links can be distributed through whatever channel a participant's network actually uses: text message, email, social media, or even mentioned in person at a family gathering. Because the link works the same regardless of how it's shared, participants have flexibility in how they reach out rather than being limited to a single prescribed communication channel.
