Platform & Campaign Mechanics
The list of participants enrolled in a specific campaign, including their individual fundraising pages and progress.
The participant roster is the list of every participant enrolled in a specific campaign, including each person's individual fundraising page and current progress. It's typically established at campaign setup, often by importing an existing team or program roster, and then maintained by the program administrator throughout the campaign's active window.
Each entry on the roster corresponds to one participant's individual page and share link, meaning the roster is effectively the master list connecting every individual fundraising effort back to the overall campaign. Administrators can add participants who join partway through a season, or remove someone who is no longer part of the program, directly from this view.
Keeping the roster accurate matters for a few practical reasons. It ensures every student or athlete actually raising money gets properly credited for their individual efforts, rather than a donation landing in an ambiguous or mismatched place. It also prevents confusion during an active campaign, where a participant not appearing correctly on the roster might not have a working share link to distribute in the first place.
An accurate, up-to-date roster is also what makes participant-level reporting features, like the participant leaderboard, reliable. If the roster itself has errors or gaps, any reporting built on top of it inherits those same problems, so administrators should treat roster accuracy as a foundational task at the start of every new campaign rather than something to fix later if issues come up.
Keeping the roster accurate ensures every student or athlete is properly credited for what they raise and prevents mismatched or missing participant pages during a campaign.
